SOCIAL – No AWD or 4WD

AWD EASY –  Scenic graded gravel roads, with gradual climbs and descents, dust, possible pot holes, shallow causeways and corrugations, maybe more difficult in wet conditions. No recovery gear required.

AWD MEDIUM – SUBARU VEHICLES FITTED WITH ALL TERRAIN TYRES AND SUITABLE RECOVERY POINTS FRONT AND REAR, possible lantana, steeper climbs and descents with ruts, contour banks, loose rocks, mud, dust, rocky creek crossings with water up to the centre of the wheels, larger pot holes, bigger corrugations, sandy terrain, maybe more difficult in wet weather. Recovery gear recommended.

4WD MEDIUM – LIFTED SUBARU VEHICLES ONLY, FITTED WITH ALL TERRAIN TYRES AND SUITABLE RECOVERY POINTS FRONT AND REAR, possible lantana, steeper climbs and descents with ruts, contour backs, loose rocks, mud, dust, rocky creek crossings with water up to the centre of the wheels, larger pot holes, bigger corrugations and soft sand, maybe more difficult in wet conditions. Recovery gear required.

4WD HARD – LIFTED DUAL RANGE MANUALS OR TURBO AUTO SUBARU VEHICLES ONLY, FITTED WITH ALL TERRAIN TYRES AND SUITABLE RECOVERY POINTS FRONT AND REAR, bushy thick lantana sections, steep rocky, slippery climbs and descents with deep ruts and high contour banks, deeper mud, deeper rocky creek crossings, which may need a radiator blind, possible towing and road work needed and deep soft sand, maybe more difficult in wet conditions. Recovery gear required.
