Trip commenced at Tilly’s Cafe Moore after everyone enjoyed a tasty breakfast and good coffee. I can thoroughly recommend a visit to Tilly’s cafe if you are in the area. We had to give Benarkin forest tracks a miss due to road closures so we headed up to Nanango via some easy to medium challenging tracks the back of Yarraman. A bit of track repair was required at a creek exit chewed out by previous larger vehicles. New club member Mike didn’t hesitate & got to work on mattock with other members fixing exit. At Nanango pit stop Katie introduced us all to Geocaching and we searched & located a cache hidden in the park. We then headed back to Blackbutt for lunch where some made a beeline to the bakery. With lunch finished we then headed south enjoying the great rural vistas, spotted a deer grazing next to track and also plenty of cows then ending the day at Esk after everyone decided they wanted an ice cream.
