This is a BSCC organised event, that our members are welcome to attend.

To start the year off,you can do this easy country drive on some good dirt and bitumen roads, with some questions along the way. The drive is through the Fassifern Valley on Sat 11th Jan.

Another Social Drive in the countryside – Rusty’s Rumba –  Sat 11 January 2025

Rusty’s Rumba is a non-timed social drive over roads that were used in rallies of old.
The start and finish is at Rusty’s Shell service station. 4114 Warrego Highway, Hatton Vale.4341. https://find.shell.com/au/fuel/10111555-shell-rustys/en_AU.

Start time is 9 am but get there early and have a coffee and some potato scallops.

• No competition licence is required.
• Entrants must be a member of a Motorsport Australia Car Club. (Formally CAMS) if not a member of a Motorsport Australia Car Club – day membership will be included in the entry fee
• The event is around 150 kilometres in length on good roads ranging from country bitumen roads to good smooth main well maintained dirt roads.
• Any registered car will be suitable or take the work Ute.

The answer to about forty questions are to be found around the route.  There is time for a break at about the half way mark.

There is a choice of instructions .

Standard instructions i.e… Turn right. Turn left etc

For the purists and those who would like to try their hand, there are map reading instructions set on good easy to read maps.
The instructions and maps will be emailed to all entrants during the week before the event so you can plot the route at home at leisure. Your route can be checked at the start if required.

Official instructions that contain the questions and locations will be issued at the start.
